1. We don't need a creator god.

People of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism won't like this conclusion one bit. Sacred books provide the basis for these religions, and those books include the story of creation by a god. However, if you go to a church, mosque, or synagogue, you can still accept the principle of universal evolution and believe your God created the laws setting up that principle. The tough part is my personal conclusion that a godlike creature is more likely to arise at the end of evolution rather than at the beginning. Science simply can't settle the question of the existence of God: We have no evidence that God exists and it's impossible to prove God does not exist. Try to prove there never was a two-headed unicorn.

Most Buddhists, Hindus, and Taoists won't have much problem with this statement since they allow many choices, from no god to many gods. Taoism doesn't accept creation at all.

This statement doesn't matter to Confucians, and Atheists believe it already.

2. No particular god takes care of us.

Christians and Jews believe in one god, and they believe he will take care of them, if not in this life, then the next. Anyone with a caring God still asks why when a loved one dies in a car crash.

Muslims think god is all powerful, and his will must be accepted, so it doesn't make sense to ask him to change his mind. Why is there a car crash? It doesn't matter to them; Allah will take care of them in the next life.

Most Buddhists, Hindus, and Taoists don't really think one god cares much about them.

Confucians and Atheists already believe no personal god exists.

3. Higher beings might interact with us.
